Our philosophy

A different kind of care

We exist for people who need to step away completely. Those navigating behavioural and dopamine driven dependencies, the weight of burnout, or the mental health challenges that so often accompany a demanding life. Meridian is not an institution. It is a sanctuary, designed to restore, staffed by leading specialists, and built around a single, uncompromising promise of privacy.

Areas of care

What we treat

01

Behavioural and dopamine addictions

Gambling, gaming and compulsive behaviours, treated with dignity and clinical rigour.

02

Burnout and executive stress

For those who have given everything to their work, and need to recover fully and quietly.

03

Anxiety, depression and mood

Evidence led care for the conditions that so often sit beneath the surface.

04

Co-occurring conditions

Where several challenges meet, we treat the whole person, not a single symptom.

Our approach

How we treat

Every person who comes to Meridian is met as an individual, never a diagnosis. Care begins with a thorough clinical assessment and is shaped into a programme built around your history, your needs and your goals.

Assessment led

Treatment begins with a comprehensive clinical and psychological assessment, so nothing is assumed.

Evidence based

Established, outcomes-driven therapies, delivered by senior clinicians at the top of their field.

The whole person

We address the underlying causes and any co-occurring conditions, alongside nutrition, movement and genuine rest.

Family and continuity

Where it is welcomed, we involve the people who matter, and we support you well beyond your stay.

The experience

Your time with us

01

A confidential first conversation

It begins with a private enquiry and an honest, unhurried conversation, entirely without pressure.

02

A considered assessment

A thorough clinical assessment shapes a programme designed around you and no one else.

03

Restoration in residence

Time to heal, in privacy and comfort, with expert care always close at hand.

04

Care that continues

A clear, supported plan for the days, weeks and months after you leave us.

The setting

A sanctuary, by design

Meridian is being created as a place apart. Private, serene, and removed from the pressures of everyday life, where every detail is considered in service of recovery. Here, comfort and calm are not indulgences. They are part of how healing happens.

Why Meridian

Our promise to you

Absolute discretion

Your privacy is the foundation of everything we do, from the first enquiry to long after you leave us.

Clinical excellence

Individually designed programmes, led by specialists at the very top of their field.

A true sanctuary

Five star surroundings created for genuine restoration, never clinical confinement.

Care that continues

Support and continuity that extend well beyond your time in residence.

Confidentiality

Discretion is not a feature of Meridian. It is the reason we exist.

Everything here is built around a single certainty: that your time with us remains entirely your own.

Our story

Why Meridian exists.

Meridian was born from a simple, uncomfortable truth: that the people best able to afford the finest care in the world are often the least able to reach for it.

Success protects no one from addiction, burnout or despair. Too often, it simply makes them harder to admit.

For the accomplished and the visible, the fear of exposure can be as powerful as the illness itself. A single admission, a familiar face in a waiting room, a name on a register. The risk can feel too great, and so many suffer quietly, for years, when help is exactly what they can afford.

We created Meridian Collective to remove that impossible choice. A place where world-class clinical medicine meets absolute discretion and genuine restoration, so that no one has to choose between getting well and protecting the life they have built.

We are building it on the best of medical practice and the highest professional standards, and not only for those in our care. For their families, for the clinicians who trust us with their patients, and for the people who work within our walls. Everyone in the circle of care deserves the same dignity.

Our belief

Healing asks for space, privacy and time. Meridian is built to give all three.

What we stand for

Our values

Dignity above all

Every person is met with respect and without judgment, whoever they are.

Discretion without compromise

Privacy is not a promise we make. It is the foundation we are built on.

Clinical excellence

Evidence led care, delivered by senior specialists, held to the highest standard.

Care for the whole circle

The same professionalism and respect for our patients, their families, our referrers and our people.

Meridian Collective is preparing to welcome its first residents.

Questions

Frequently asked.

A few of the questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, we would be glad to answer it in confidence.

What does Meridian treat?

We provide residential care for behavioural and dopamine driven addictions, including gambling, gaming and compulsive behaviours, as well as burnout, anxiety, depression and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Who is Meridian for?

Adults who need discreet, residential care of the highest standard, and for whom privacy is paramount. We treat each person as an individual, never as a diagnosis.

How do I know if residential treatment is the right step?

Residential care suits those for whom everyday life makes recovery difficult, or whose situation calls for privacy and full focus away from familiar pressures. The clearest way to know is a confidential conversation with us, which carries no obligation.

How can I help a loved one who is struggling?

Reaching out on someone's behalf is often the hardest and most important first step. You can contact us in confidence to talk through the situation, and we will guide you gently on how to approach it, at their pace and yours.

Can families be involved in treatment?

Where it is welcomed and clinically appropriate, family can be an important part of recovery. We involve the people who matter, with the individual's consent, and we support families throughout.

How private is it, really?

Confidentiality is the reason Meridian exists. Discretion is maintained from your very first contact with us, through your stay, and long afterward.

Will anyone find out I have been treated here?

Protecting your privacy is the reason Meridian exists. We hold your involvement with us in the strictest confidence, and discretion is maintained at every stage.

What does treatment involve?

Care begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment, from which we design a programme around your needs. It combines evidence based clinical therapies with rest, nutrition, movement and genuine restoration.

Is there medical supervision, and support with withdrawal if it is needed?

Care is led by senior clinicians, and any medical needs, including safe and supervised withdrawal where it is required, are assessed and managed as part of your programme.

How long is a stay?

There is no single answer. The length of a stay is guided by clinical need and agreed with you following your assessment.

Can I stay in touch with family or work during my stay?

Contact with the outside world is agreed with you as part of your programme, balancing the benefits of staying connected with the space you need to recover well.

What support is there after I leave?

Recovery does not end at the door. Every programme includes a clear plan for continued care and support in the weeks and months that follow.

What does treatment cost?

Fees depend on the length and nature of each individual programme. We discuss them openly and in confidence during your enquiry, with no obligation.

Where is Meridian, and when do you open?

We are preparing to welcome our first residents. Details of our location are shared privately with those who enquire, in keeping with our commitment to discretion.

How do I make an enquiry?

You can register your interest through our confidential enquiry form, and a member of our team will be in touch personally.

I am a clinician. How do I refer or get involved?

We welcome referring practitioners. You can learn about our ambassador network and register your interest on our page for clinicians.

Is Meridian an emergency service?

No. Meridian is a residential service and not a crisis line. If you or someone you love needs urgent help now, please contact your local emergency services, or SADAG on 0800 567 567.
